Update 2.3.0 moves the Frigate's better loot deeper inside in Arc Raiders (https://www.u4gm.com/arc-raiders/blog-arc-raiders-anniversary-gift-claim-the-anniversary-panettone-backpack-attachment), making a quick sweep near the entrance less rewarding than a full push. Players targeting ARC Raiders Items (https://www.u4gm.com/arc-raiders/items) should plan for the deeper cargo areas rather than rely on the front rooms.
Where to look inside the Frigate
Areas farther inside the Frigate now have a higher chance of higher-tier rewards. That is a better chance, not a guaranteed drop, so a deep run can still end with less than expected.
The cargo gate has been updated, and visible hatches now show progress through the Frigate puzzle. Power core vents and hatches also provide audio cues for progress and completion. Watch the hatches and listen for those cues before moving on; they give the squad feedback without relying entirely on callouts.
Pings near the Frigate now mark a precise location instead of identifying the whole ship. Use them to point teammates toward a particular hatch or vent, then regroup before pushing farther inside. The Frigate can also be pinged from long range as it enters the area.
ARC Reclaimers may fail to dock in the correct spot on the Frigate. Keep that known issue in mind if the expected docking does not happen; repeating the same approach is not guaranteed to resolve it.
Blueprints and other loot changes
Six weapon blueprints can now drop under any major map condition: Dolabra, Bobcat, Equalizer, Jupiter, Tempest, and Vulcano. Their shared drop chance was lowered slightly to offset the broader availability, so access across more conditions does not mean a specific blueprint will appear quickly.
The Emperor Key blueprint now drops less often from Redirection pods. Those pods gained a small chance to contain ARC parts and high-tier ARC loot, but neither change guarantees a useful result from an individual pod.
Furniture Design rates were also corrected. Rarer Designs now drop less frequently than common ones, so recent results from the reversed rates are a poor guide to what to expect after the update.
Plan a deeper run
The Emperor received a similar loot adjustment: entrance containers now give lower-tier rewards, while higher-tier loot sits deeper inside. Bring healing and shield charge if you intend to push past the entrance, and decide on an exit before committing to the farther rooms.
Gear changes can affect that preparation. The Heavy Shield's base charge increased from 80 to 90. Flame Spray damage rose from 10 to 13 per second, and its durability drain was cut by 50 percent; its fire no longer passes through walls.
The Firefly Burner now activates on impact, leaves a trail of fire while traveling, and explodes after about three seconds. Adrenaline Shot can be used at full stamina, but another shot refreshes its duration instead of stacking the effect.
Claim the gift and check your stash
The anniversary gift is in the in-game inbox, not the store, and requires no code. Log in, open the inbox, and claim it before starting a raid.
The Expedition Vault is being disabled, with its contents moving to the regular stash. Players who bought Vault slots receive Bronze Statuettes as compensation. Check the stash after logging in, especially if space was already tight, and sell or recycle low-value materials before leaving for a raid.
Souls Offering runs until November 16 and has four stages, with rewards including the Pilgrim backpack and Offering Display Table. Many tasks lead into Pendola Pass, so an Emperor run can also contribute to project progress.
Before your next Frigate run, check your inbox and stash, choose supplies for a deeper push, and mark the hatch or vent your squad needs. Players who prefer to buy ARC Raiders Weapons (https://www.u4gm.com/arc-raiders/items) can review that option before deciding what to carry.
