PoE currency stays in its own game and cannot transfer to PoE 2; currency from an ending challenge league also cannot fund the next fresh league. Keep POE currency separate from your PoE 2 budget, and treat migrated holdings as Standard assets.

Keep three budgets separate

Track your current PoE league, PoE Standard, and PoE 2 holdings separately. Divine Orbs and Chaos Orbs from the ending league move to the appropriate parent league, not into the new challenge league. A fresh league character starts without that accumulated currency.

For the supplied 3.30 schedule, Curse of the Allflame ends on November 9, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. PST, and the next expansion launches on November 13 PST. Check the announced schedule before making a time-sensitive sale or migration decision.

Divine Orbs are the high-value trade unit, while Chaos Orbs cover everyday purchases. Exalted Orbs remain crafting currency, but they are not the main yardstick for expensive trades.

Clear Faustus orders before the league ends

Faustus runs the Currency Exchange, where stackable items can be traded through orders that fill when another player matches the ratio. Each order has a gold fee, and closing it early does not return that fee.

On your current league character, visit Faustus in Lioneye's Watch in Act 6 or in your hideout if you have invited him there.
Open the Currency Exchange and review the items on the want and have sides of each order.
Collect completed stacks, then cancel orders whose ratios no longer meet your target. Check the order list to confirm the cancelled orders are no longer active.
After league migration, check the parent league for orders that still occupy slots. If an order is stuck, use the migration control on the character-select screen, then cancel it in the parent league.

The account has ten active exchange slots shared across leagues. Old orders can consume space needed for new-league trades, so clear them rather than assuming the league ending removes them. Merchant's Tabs handle separately priced gear; they do not replace Faustus orders for bulk currency.

Prepare for the reset without spending the wrong reserve

Keep any gear needed for unfinished challenges, then decide which spare uniques and crafting bases you want to sell. A build-specific item may lose buyers after a reveal, while commonly used crafting currency can have a broader market. Set a personal minimum price before listing and avoid chasing a slightly better exchange rate at the expense of holding unwanted stock.

During the gap before launch, sort migrated tabs in Standard and clear remaining exchange orders. Write down an early Chaos limit for each planned purchase, but do not count your Standard reserve as currency available to the new character.

On launch day, check the character-creation league selector before entering. Save early Chaos for useful campaign equipment, resistances, and map progress rather than committing everything to one item; Divine Orb prices can move sharply while supply is limited.

Before making a purchase or placing an order, compare your separate game and league notes with the items you actually hold. If reviewing Path of exile currency for sale, confirm which game and league the listing concerns, then check Faustus and the league selector before proceeding.
